Usually my Sunday mornings involve sleeping in, taking care of our dog, Kylo, and having coffee at home in the quiet morning before heading to our church and student ministry. But this morning, I happened to see Meaningful Spaces‘ Instagram story mentioning the Hearth & Hand opening. I was at Target yesterday and literally saw the promo sign with the opening date but seriously forgot we were already in November (how?!). So, I headed straight to Target to see what they had before services began.
I’ve never been to a Target release, and the store had been open for a while this morning, so I had no idea what it’d be like. I’ve heard other locations had long lines and people camping out. Luckily, there weren’t any crazy lines and I found a lot of my favorite items still in stock!
We bought our first house in September and our first dining table just last month, and I’ve been looking for the perfect setting to commit to.
I snagged these placemats, chargers, napkins, and napkin holders knowing they could be used for multiple occasions. I’m not the biggest fan of galvanized look but these chargers bring in a good texture and the gold edges tie in with the centerpiece.
I was a little worried the line would be all galvanized and wooden textures but I was happy to see lots of black, gold, and more modern pieces included.
Ignore my wrinkled table runner and uncentered dishes. I was too excited not to put it all together!
My favorite piece is the gold candle holder centerpiece. I’ve been wanting some type of taper candle holder in our home and this piece is a steal at $23! Plus, the top comes off, so you can either fill it with seasonal decor or leave it empty for a clean look. The centerpiece was no longer on the shelves or available for delivery online but it was available to pick up in store. It sounds like they keep a number of items in the back for that purpose alone. So, if your favorite item is out of stock, try seeing if it’s available at a nearby store. Once you pay for it online, you’ll get an email letting you know it’s ready. If you’re really searching for something, it’s nice to know one is waiting for you!
There’s still so much we want to do with our breakfast-turned-dining area and eventually, I’d like to add a little more to the table, but it definitely feels cozier with this new setting.
I’ve linked everything shown here (including my dishes) and some of my other favorite Hearth & Hand items below!
