Our living room finally got a very much needed update this weekend! Coffee tables make a huge difference in any living room and finding the right one to fit the style you’re going for can be hard. Like, comically-contemplating-for-months hard. I even took Continue reading “Modern Coffee Table”
It’s not impossible but it’s definitely a little harder to find unique, quality coffee shops (AKA not Starbucks) in our suburb area. Next on my list of nearby coffee shops to visit was THIRD GEN COFFEE. This one is located in an older Continue reading “A Review: THIRD GEN COFFEE”
Lately, I’ve been struggling with the gotta-have-its. They’re similar to the need-to-knows (which I also deal with) but applies when you’re envying someone else’s material things, life, hair, vacation, etc. I wouldn’t even Continue reading “The Gotta-Have-Its”
Dill and I always look forward to family vacations with the Dimmitt family. When we were dating, we went to Las Vegas and saw the Grand Canyon, and last year we went on my first cruise experience. This year, we headed to Disney World! The last time I was here, I was about 15 years old and after that, Disneyland has been my place. Since then, there have been so many changes made at Disney World, I could barely recognize and remember each park. Perhaps the most unrecognizable was Hollywood Studios, since so much of it is under construction (more on that later).
We had four full days at the parks, so we had plenty of time to get things done.
I’m tackling two days in each post – which is A LOT. So let’s get started! Continue reading “Disney World: Days 1 & 2”
Lately, I can’t seem to get a hold on the hours, days, or weeks before they fly by.
Anyone else? Continue reading “Get Off The Roller Coaster”
Things have been so busy at the house, with getting everything ready for family to come visit, I haven’t had time to knock out a gift guide! Here are some of my favorite items, some of which came directly from my wishlist. These items range in price from $13 – $180, so there are plenty of gift ideas, no matter what your budget is! Continue reading “Gift Guide”
If Joanna Gaines opened a cafe in Conroe, this would be it. Wall to wall shiplap, soft white paint, greenery sprinkled throughout, and light wood accents. Finding unique coffee shops or cafes around the suburbs is a fun game I like to play. It seems our area goes through seasons of opening fun new places and then seasons of nothing new. FLOUR-ISH has been on my list to visit for a couple months now, so I took Continue reading “A Review: FLOUR-ISH”
Last weekend, our Student Ministry (TSM) held our annual Girls Night In for our junior high and high school girls. It’s our chance to create a fun evening with karaoke, crafts, a photobooth, skits, and a message tailored just for the girls we care for at TSM. I was asked to write a letter to my 2007 self based on Continue reading “The Value of Singles in Ministry”
Apparently it’s not physically possible for me to be in Southern California without stopping at Disney — Dill and I have gone three times together in two years. As promised from my Southern California post, here is Continue reading “Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Recap”
Usually my Sunday mornings involve sleeping in, taking care of our dog, Kylo, and having coffee at home in the quiet morning before heading to our church and student ministry. But this morning, I happened to see Meaningful Spaces‘ Instagram story mentioning the Hearth & Hand opening. I was Continue reading “Hearth & Hand Haul and Table Setting”
